Asuka II docks at Port of Saipan

Asuka II

I didn't hear a lot of press about the Asuka II cruise ship, but I took some photos on Thursday during the ship's day long docking in Saipan on New Year's Eve. Wikipedia states "Asuka II features 8 passenger accessible decks. The ship has 2 swimming pools, 8 bars, a casino and fitness centre. There is also a 277 seat theatre. There are 461 outside cabins, 260 of which have private balconies. There are 19 inside cabins." After slow retail sales in Saipan for Christmas, hopefully the Japanese cruise passengers were able to do a little after Christmas shopping on the island.
